Augmented reality (AR) is a fascinating technology that allows to recognize objects in the physical world in real time and combines them with the content of the digital world, creating an enriched experience beyond reality.

In recent years, with augmented reality becoming more mature and smart devices becoming more powerful in terms of computational processing and public availability, there is a growing interest in the scientific community to study the potential use and effects of AR in education. . Today there are dozens of investigations with concrete results that show the benefits of learning with augmented reality, and based on all these we have designed PleIQ. Any smart device (tablet or phone) running Android (version 5.0 or later) or iOS (version 11.0 or later) operating systems. We recommend a minimum configuration of 1GB of RAM, an ARMv7 (Cortex) CPU or Atom CPU; OpenGL ES 2.0 or later, which are found on almost any smart phone or tablet today. The more megapixels the device's camera has, the easier it will be to scan the cubes.

PleIQ is recommended for children 3 to 8 years of age. However, PleIQ can be used by children under 3 years of age as an assisted toy (to play with the assistance of their parents) and by children over 8 years of age, as the experiences are very entertaining.

Currently, PleIQ experiences are available in English and Spanish, but it is within our plans to expand the game to other languages.

Initially PleIQ contains 48 augmented reality educational experiences distributed between an interactive alphabet, numbers and challenges / games for each intelligence. We plan to continue expanding the PleIQ universe, subscribe to our newsletter to stay informed.
